Oddgrid: Celebrating Diverse Graphic Design Practices

Understanding how design education treats Swiss design as the prime example of "good" design, Oddgrid Studio pushes back on the Western monolith and make space for, and celebrate, under appreciated graphic design approaches within education spheres. Our traveling bookshelf creates conversation around this topic by visiting design institutions to create spontaneous spaces of discussion for students completing formal higher education in the global West — especially those with international backgrounds. The book and website features a diverse range of seventeen designers and design studios based across the globe, including Indonesia, Côte d'Ivoire, China, Nigeria, and more.
