When Art Marries Design, The World Ends On ____

What happens when art marries design? The answer can be found in James Bouché’s Brooklyn studio, where the artist (who is in fact married to a designer) brings his interest in doomsday cults to life through sculptural pieces. This catalog contains seven of those works, and are supplemented by an interview and photographs of his studio space. The piece intentionally mirrors Bouché's design language: the silver and blue pages mimic his materials, the ribbon binding draws from his piece __ & Do, and the eight-sided star symbol silhouettes a piece titled I Love Having Instruction.
